Mayor Bryan Shupe announced on December 16, 2015 City Council unanimously voted to approve Kenneth L. Brown, a thirty-year veteran of the Milford Police Department, as Milford’s Chief of Police, succeeding former Chief E. Keith Hudson.

Our mission is to provide fair, compassionate, and impartial police services to the citizens and visitors of the City of Milford, Delaware, recognizing both the statutory and judicial limitations of police authority and the constitutionally guaranteed rights of all people.

As we strive to accomplish our mission, it is our goal to carry out our work with the highest levels of honesty, integrity, and compassion while treating all persons with dignity and respect. 

Employment Opportunities

 

The Milford Police Department is accepting applications for a part-time Police Telecommunications Operator/Dispatcher Positions. Applicants must be able to multitask in a high volume stressful work environment. Applicants will be expected to undergo a background investigation and drug screen.
