Utility Locating

Responsibilities
The City of Milford Utility Locator is responsible for protecting and recording the Ctiy's underground infrastructure. These include the electric, sewer, water and stormwater systems. Other duties of the locating department include, but are not limited to, record keeping of utility maps / data files, DelDOT coordination and performing various inspections.

Utility locates are required anytime the surface of the ground is altered/disturbed. Requests for locates require a 48 hour notice and are scheduled through the Miss Utility One-Call Center by calling "811" or 1-800-282-8555. Locates can be requested online by selecting the ITIC feature at www.missutility.net/itic

*Please note the City of Milford will not locate without a valid Miss Utility ticket.**
