Annual Election

The Annual City Election is held the fourth Saturday in April.  The 2020 Annual Election will be held Saturday, April 25, 2020 from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm at Milford City Hall, 201 South Walnut Street, Milford.  

Candidates:  
Persons wishing to run for the Office of City Council or Office of Mayor must file a nomination packet with the City Clerk's Office no later than 4:30 pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.  Please make an appointment to obtain a Council Candidate Packet by calling the City Clerk, Terri Hudson, at (302) 422-1111 ext 1303.  
 
Voters:  
Please note that having registered through the State of Delaware, Kent County or Sussex County Department of Elections does not qualify you to vote in a City of Milford Election.  To be eligible, you must have registered at Milford City Hall.
The deadline for registering to vote in this year's election is 4:30 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2020.  Voter registration is conducted at City Hall, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.  Extended voter registration times will be held:
Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm
Saturday, March 21, 2019 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm
