                                                                                                The City of Milford is seeking qualified applicants 
                                                                                                                      for the 
full-time position of 
                                                                                                                            Park Technician I

General Responsibilities:  The position of Park Technician I assists the Park Superintendent in daily operation and maintenance activities of the park system,cemeteries, grounds and recreation facilities; responsible for directing and supervising temporary service personnel. Performs other duties, within  City departments, as assigned by management.

Requirements:  High School Diploma or G.E.D; Two years’ experience in parks maintenance and supervision or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Ability and strength to perform manual labor; physical stamina to withstand working under various types of weather conditions. Must pass pre-employment testing for substance abuse, criminal background, motor vehicle driver’s license history and a pre-employment physical.
