Small Business Assistance During COVID-19

Governor Carney requested the Economic Injury Declaration on March 16 for all the Delaware counties to allow small businesses to apply for assistance through the Small Business Administration (SBA). Businesses should be able to apply by March 19, or at the latest on March 20, by visiting the SBA website.

The SBA highly recommends businesses start gathering required information for disaster assistance such as tax returns, estimated amount of loss, anticipated loss, and more.  A complete list of requirements is on the website.

Since COVID-19 is a nationwide event, turnover time with SBA applications will take longer so please apply as soon as possible.
