Route 1 recycling collection is on Tuesday.
Route 2 recycling collection is on Wednesday.
Route 3 recycling collection is on Thursday.
Route 4 recycling collection is on Friday.

Personal containers are not acceptable for the removal of trash, yard waste or recycling.  Additional containers are available upon request at no additional fee.  Recycling should be placed at the curb by 7:00 am on collection day. Containers with yard waste or trash will not be collected. Please see Additional Information link above for helpful tips and reminders.

Accepted Materials


  • Cardboard
  • Glass bottles / jars (any color)
  • Junk mail / envelopes (all types)
  • Magazines / catalogs
  • Metal cans (tin / steel / aluminum)
  • Milk jugs, bleach / detergent, shampoo bottles
  • Narrow-neck plastic bottles
  • Newspapers / brown paper bags
  • Paper
  • Paperboard (cereal / tissue boxes)
  • Telephone / soft cover books
  • Pizza Boxes (free of food residue)
  • Plastic - UPDATE - #1, #2, #4, #5 & #7 plastics. These numbers, known as the resin identification code, are located inside an arrow-shaped triangle, found at the bottom of each plastic container.

PLASTIC BAGS - Return to a store where plastic bags are used. Stores should have a receptacle to recycle them.

  • Hardback Books (pages are acceptable, remove hard cover)

  • Household Batteries
  • Electronics
  • Broken Glass / Mirrors / Window Glass
  • Empty aerosol spray cans
  • Paint Cans
