Minimum standards must be met in order to qualify for consideration for entry level police services. Listed below are several questions which can be answered either "Yes" or "No". Respond to all questions.
If you reach the background phase of the hiring process, you will be examined by a licensed ophthalmologist or optometrist and you shall possess acuity of vision of not less than 20/200 corrected to 20/20 in each eye, ability to distinguish between the colors of red, green, and amber, no pathology of the eyes, and acceptable depth perception. You must also possess normal hearing in both ears.

This training, approved by the Delaware Council on Police Training, is mandatory by state law for anyone wishing to serve as a police officer in the State of Delaware. As a result of these standards set by the Delaware Council on Police Training, the Milford Police Department is required to investigate my criminal history in any and all states and territories of the United States.
