Milford City Parks
BICENTENNIAL PARK
This park was the first city park and was built in 1976. It was dedicated to our nation's 200th anniversary hence the name "Bicentennial Park". It has picnic tables, a large pavilion, a pedestrian/fishing bridge and is an ideal setting for picnics, family reunions and special events. There are also several monuments dedicated to residents who lost their lives defending our country during WWII, Korea and Vietnam. This park is also the anchor for the MISPILLION RIVERWALK GREENWAY, a lovely brick walkway along the Mispillion River which extends for one mile. There is plenty of parking as well.

MARVEL SQUARE PARK
This park is adjacent to the Milford Parks and Recreation Building located at 207 Franklin Street, at the corner of Franklin & 3rd Street. There is plenty of open space for flying kites or ball games along with two, fun, multi-use playgrounds designed specifically for 2-5 year olds and for 6-12 year olds. There is also a pavilion which provides patrons with a shady area from which to observe their young children playing.

MEMORIAL PARK SOUTH
This park is between South Washington and Franklin Streets along the Mispillion River. It includes an outdoor basketball court and the pedestrian/fishing bridge. There are many shady areas with benches. This park is excellent for walking along the Riverwalk, fishing, special events, reunions or picnics.

MARSHALL'S POND PARK
This park is located around the corner from Lulu Ross Elementary School at the Corner of Lemuel Street and Lovers Lane. There is a nice brick ampitheatre and lots of access for fishing in the Pond. There is plenty of wildlife to observe, including the Canada Geese that will gladly accept your crumbs! This park is home to Milford's Pop Warner Youth Football Program.

BANNEKER PARK
This small park is located adjacent to Banneker Elementary School near the corner of North and 4th Streets. There are two outdoor basketball courts & a nice sized park area.
RENTAL INFORMATION: Cost: $75 Deposit: $75 Electric - none Water- none gas grills allowed
Trash: carry in - carry out policy RULES & REGULATIONS:
1. Patrons are required to remove all trash that they bring into the park, hence our ?CARRY IN ? CARRY OUT? trash policy (trash bags are available at the P & R office). 2. Dogs or other pets are NOT ALLOWED in the parks during rentals or special events. 3. Your deposit will be refunded if the park is found to be clean and no damage has occurred to the park, facilities or equipment. 4. Parks & pavilions are accessible (this includes the playground). 5. Parking is allowed at the Milford Shopping Center (the Salvation Army does NOT allow any parking near their building) 6. No alcohol allowed. 8. You may be required to hire police to patrol your event.
