Creating a Safe Learning Environment
The Community Policing Division includes of a school resource officer (SRO) who is certified by the National Association of School Resource Officers.

The SRO is assigned to the Milford School District and acts as a peer to students and an advisor on crime and criminal matters to the staff and administration of the school district. The SRO is responsible for all schools in the Milford School District.

The officer is responsible for investigating all crimes that occur within the schools. In addition the SRO serves as an informal counselor and a teacher / guest speaker in classrooms.
