WIIN Focus Group with City Council
Thursday, June 2, 2022
City Council will be attending a meeting convened by Waterways Infrastructure & Investment Network (WIIN) for informational purposes at which no city business will be conducted.
More about WIIN and the Focus Group:
The City of Milford is a member of the Waterways Infrastructure & Investment Network (WIIN), a coalition of partners that was awarded a federal grant to craft a vision for the Mispillion & Cedar Creek Watersheds. Council is invited to participate in a focus group to help generate ideas and priorities as WIIN members evaluate natural resource-based projects and create a management plan for the Mispillion and Cedar Creek Watersheds. The goal is to explore ecotourism and nature-based investments that produce win-win benefits of economic opportunity and community resilience to climate and land use changes.
The Focus Group will be facilitated by Dr. Jennifer Egan, a Program Manager in Environmental Economics & Conservation Finance at the University of Maryland’s Environmental Finance Center, and Milford resident Ben Muldrow, a Partner at Arnett Muldrow & Associates, a place-based economic development firm.
