Code Purple will be in affect the evenings of December 18 through December 21.

The following shelters will be open in Milford:

Milford Community Center (women & children only); 105 NE Front Street; opens at 5:00 pm

Avenue United Methodist Church (men only); 20 N Church Street; opens at 7:00 pm

Code Purple is enacted whenever the night time temperature or wind chill is expected to fall below 32 degrees.  Not a traditional shelter, a Code Purple shelter provides emergency shelter to aid the homeless on cold nights.
