[ARCHIVED] Weather Permitting, Mosquito Control to Spray This Evening

Weather permitting, the Delaware Mosquito Control Section plans the following insecticide application(s) during the evening hours on Tuesday, August 18, 2020:

Application of Anvil 10+10 (Sumithrin/PBO) with a truck-mounted sprayer to control adult mosquitoes in the following areas:

In and near Camden-Wyoming, Felton, Harrington, Milford, and Farmington. Near Viola, Marydel, Greenwood, Magnolia, Frederica, Lincoln, and Georgetown.

For notification purposes, spraying will be done in the following zone(s): 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 97, 98, 99, 105, 106, 107, 113, 115, 116, 118, 123, 124, 125, 136, 150, and 151.

All insecticides to be used are registered with the USEPA for mosquito control and will be applied according to USEPA approved label instructions.  The USEPA has determined that the insecticides to be used do not pose unreasonable risks to human health, wildlife, or the environment.
