Kent County East-West Truck Study Virtual Public Workshop

The purpose of the Kent County East-West Truck Study is to identify future truck-related road improvements to incorporate into the Dover/Kent County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO)'s Metropolitan Transportation Plan. 

Routes included in this study are Routes 300, 42, 11, 44, 8, and 14. These routes pass through agricultural areas as well as the towns of Cheswold, Clayton, Hartly, Kenton, and Smyrna and the cities of Dover, Harrington, and Milford. 

During this virtual public meeting, information on current truck volumes and travel patterns will be presented, along with an overview of the physical conditions and issues along each route. 

Workshop participants can provide input concerning issues caused by or affecting truck freight movements on those routes, and ideas for potential road improvements.
