Walnut Street Bridge Closure Update:
The Walnut Street bridge continues to be closed until final concrete testing is completed per DelDOT requirements. DelDOT requires a 21-day cure period for concrete bridge decks. Testing on the concrete will take place early next week, and provided the deck has reached its specified strength, the bridge deck will be reopened to traffic. We appreciate your patience and understanding. We expect the bridge to be reopened to traffic the middle of next week.
