The City of Milford Public Works Department is updating residents that ongoing water system work on North Church Street has been delayed due to issues in meeting required chlorine levels in a new water main that has not yet been connected to the system. As a result, the street has remained under construction, and water services have not been transferred, leaving the paving incomplete. We are happy to report that the chlorine issue has been resolved and over the next two weeks, we will complete testing, fill the water line, and transfer services. Paving is expected to follow in three weeks.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to complete this essential project. For updates or questions, please contact the City of Milford Public Works Department at 302-422-6616, press 7, press 4.
