We want to share a quick progress update on several key street and utility projects happening around town. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as our crews work to improve local infrastructure.
🔹 North Washington Street
Milling was completed on April 9th and 10th. Only a few minor areas require touch-up before paving begins.
Paving is scheduled to start Wednesday, April 16th, and is expected to be completed by Friday, April 18th (weather permitting).
🔹 South Church Street & Maple Street
Milling on South Church Street is scheduled for Monday, April 14th, with completion expected the same day.
Paving for both S. Church and Maple will take place on Monday, April 21st. Notices will be distributed in advance to nearby homes and businesses to help minimize disruptions.
🔹 South Washington Street
Sewer line transfer work is still in progress. We’ve received the Authorization to Operate (ATO) for the new watermain, and a tie-in is planned for next week. Once complete, crews will begin transferring water services from the old waterline to the new system.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding during this time of construction and improvement. Please continue to drive safely near work zones and stay tuned for more updates.
