[ARCHIVED] Airport Road Rehabilitation Project

The Airport Road Rehabilitation project will include pavement base repair, drainage improvements and pavement overlay of the 1.4 mile stretch between Rt 113/N DuPont Blvd and Canterbury Road.  Work on the projected $2.4 million dollar project is expected to begin May 15 and be complete by October 27.


For those who were unable to attend the City public information meeting held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 regarding the Airport Road Improvement Project, the City is pleased to publish a video of the presentation.


Detours have been mapped out for each phase of the rehabilitation as follows:  

Phase I, Airport Road Closed between Bowman Rd and Delaware Veterans Blvd

Phase II, Airport Road Closed between Canterbury Rd and Delaware Veterans Blvd

Phase III, Airport Road Closed between Bowman Rd and Cascades Development

Phase IV, Airport Road Closed between Roosa Rd and Cascades Development

Phase V, Airport Road Closed between Roosa Rd and Rt 113/N DuPont Blvd
