[ARCHIVED] City-Wide Solid Waste Audit Scheduled

The City-wide solid waste audit of all trash, recycle and yard waste containers has been rescheduled for the week of June 25 -  June 29.  We ask that all customers place their containers, empty or full, to the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection days as listed below during this week.  The Rehrig crews will be following City trucks through each route daily. We ask that you be patient as the crews work diligently to complete each route in a timely manner.

In order to have an accurate audit, it is important that customers participate.  Once the audit is complete in your area, you will notice a new educational sticker on the lid of the recycle and yard waste containers along with a new serial number sticker.  Please leave your containers out until the end of the day or until you see new stickers on your container. If your container has recently been upgraded and already has a new lid sticker, there will not be any additional stickers added. Please remember, before placing recyclables or yard waste into the containers, make sure to check out the new lid sticker to make certain it is an acceptable item.

If you are unable to place your containers out during the route audit, please call the Public Works Department at 302-422-1110.

Thank you for assisting us in providing the best service possible.
