[ARCHIVED] Weather Permitting, Mosquito Control to Spray This Evening

Weather permitting; the Delaware Mosquito Control Section plans the following insecticide application(s) during the evening hours on Thursday, June 28, 2018:

Application of Anvil 10+10 (Sumithrin/PBO) with a truck-mounted sprayer to control adult mosquitos in the following areas:

In and near Frederica, Milford, Selbyville, and Millville and near Bethany Beach, Dagsboro, Frankford, Ocean View, Millsboro, Laurel, Seaford, Lewes, Milton, Bridgeville, Greenwood, Lincoln, and Harrington.

For notification purposes, spraying will be done in the following spray zones: 101, 107, 110, 116, 118, 122, 125, 127, 134, 136, 140, 141, 142, 146, 147, 150, 152, 153, 158, 159, 160, 161, 162, 164, 171, 174, 175, 179, 188, 189, 190, 191, 201, 202, and 203.

All insecticides to be used are registered with the USEPA for mosquito control and will be applied according to USEPA approved label instructions.  The USEPA has determined that the insecticides to be used do not pose unreasonable risks to human health, wildlife, or the environment.
