Due to warm temperatures and high energy demand, we are asking municipal customers to VOLUNTARILY reduce electric use today, Monday, July 2, 2018. Power Saver Hours are from 3pm to 6pm, with peak usage expected at 5pm. Customers are encouraged to lower their electric use during these high demand hours. This will lower electric use throughout your community and in return save you money. The more people that participate, the greater the effect.

Customers can help by taking simple steps such as:
* Going to the park or playing outside to avoid using electricity

* Closing the curtains to keep the house cooler without needing the AC

 BONUS TIP: For maximum effect, consider purchasing thermal, blackout curtains to keep your home cooler all summer long.
