[ARCHIVED] Yard Waste Being Collected

Due to the amount of yard debris caused by recent storms, Public Works will be collecting yard waste placed at the curb throughout the City.

Residents can assist by completing the online request for collection or by calling Customer Service at (302) 422-6616 to schedule a collection.  

Collection Guidelines:

  • Brush is defined as a woody material trimmed from trees or shrubs too large to be placed in the specified City container. 
  • Branches not to exceed three inches in diameter and are cut in lengths not to exceed four feet. 
  • Brush must be placed neatly at the curb, butt end toward the street, cut in lengths and stacked that one person can handle.
