[ARCHIVED] City of Milford seeks Construction Manager for the New Police Station

The City of Milford is seeking to engage the services of a Construction Management firm for the Design Assistance and Construction Management of a new Milford Police Station.

The following clarification is being issued with regard to the City of Milford’s Qualifications-Based Solicitation for CM/Agency that remains due tomorrow, Friday, April 30, by 2:00 PM to the Office of the City Clerk located at 201 South Walnut Street, Milford, DE 19963.

  1. In Section II.C the form of the contract is listed as AIA A201-2017. This is the General Conditions for a GC Contract AIA A101. Since the RFP is for CM services, will the contract be AIA A133 CM as Constructor or A132 CM as Agent?   

This is a qualifications-based selection.  Applicable terms and conditions will not be finalized until negotiations with the selected firm are concluded.  

 

  1. What is the status of the drawings/plans? 

Drawing and planning activities are intended to be part of the selected CM firm. 

 

  1. What is the anticipated construction schedule? 

Construction will begin immediately upon completion of design and is expected to be 12-15 months in duration.

 

  1. Will this project be bid under Title 29 requirements?  

 

All applicable terms and conditions will be finalized during the negotiations phase with selected CM firm.
