[ARCHIVED] Final Notice for ADA Comment Period!

Please be reminded that the comment period for the City of Milford’s ADA Transition Plan (click here to review draft Plan) is coming to a close.  Please submit your written comments no later than 12/30/21 by 4:30 PM via one of the following two means:

1)    Email comments on the draft plan to ada@milford-de.gov 

OR

2)    Hard Copy Mail (via 1st class mail) your written comments to:

City of Milford ADA/504 Coordinator
Attention: Michael Svaby, Public Works Director
180 Vickers Drive
Milford DE 19963 

Please be careful to be as specific as possible when referring to a location I the document.  Include your name, address, email address and phone number so that we may correspond with you regarding your valuable input!

Thank You for contributing to this important work and stay tuned for the final publication of the transition plan, once all public comments/input are taken into account.

Instructions for Submitting Comment on the Barrier Removal Plan:

  1. Review the linked draft Barrier Removal Plan
  2. Your comments must be submitted in writing and must include the following:
    1. The page number of the draft Plan where you first observed the information upon which you would like to comment
    2. Your specific input
    3. Your name, address, phone number and email address (include all that are applicable)
  3. Submit the information in one of two ways:
    1. By email, submit the information above to ada@milford-de.gov.
    2. By hard copy letter, addressed to:

  1. Submit your written input no later than end of business Thursday, December 30, 2021.
  1. After that, public comments received will be incorporated, if appropriate, and the final Transition Plan will be published on the City’s website and available for review upon request.
